This draft Bill to mandate 2-way EV chargers is so smart. If implemented in the UK it would generate over time the same baseload electricity at peak times as up to 10 nuclear power stations, using vehicle batteries to power our homes, for much less cost! bit.ly/3oypJF6

We hear from parents who tell us they deregistered because: ❌ threat of fines or prosecution is untenable, increasing vulnerability & adversity for the CYP & their family ❌ pressure to attend at all costs, threats to remove or reduce part time timetables / flexi arrangements 2/

Lord Wei (Nat Wei) is speaking now. His speech is focused on the role that innovation can play to scale up energy services and long-term energy storage. We must do more to enable high-demand sectors to create a market for innovation and modular power generation, he says.

Today I spoke during the Second Reading of the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill in the House of Lords today. It contains vastly authoritarian measures to clamp down on home education under the pretext of safeguarding, but actually will cause great harm (1/5). LabourList

It is a matter of historic record that when Parliament passed the Education Act of 1944, it deliberately safeguarded the right of parents — not the state — to determine their children’s education, as a bulwark against totalitarianism. (4/5) LabourList

It's time to pause and reflect on the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill, contravenes ECHR Article 14 according to KC Aiden O'Neill. Read more in the long version of my speech below and repost to your local MP/Peer and Advisors. (5/5) tinyurl.com/ProtectHE LabourList

Really important article highlighting the danger of Local Authority overreach and the impact it has on families providing suitable education at home, and their rights to privacy. We must take heed of this in opposing and amending the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill.

Did you know a weaponised Children’s Wellbeing & Schools Bill would let future leaders stop you removing your child from schools banned from teaching topics they dislike (eg Labour)? Resist, and face SAOs, fines, & imprisonment Keir Starmer Bridget Phillipson bit.ly/43rMevO
