Missed this last week - it's the best polling I've seen, post election, on the Conservative approach to net zero 👇 We've long known Lab/Lib Dem switchers are very pro, but this breakdown of Reform voters is new. In short, instead of looking at Reform voters as a block,

Buried in this sad story there are three lessons for the UK: 1️⃣ We can secure new jobs in onshore wind - Vestas are looking at refurbishing the factory to focus on onshore wind blades, maintaining 300 workers (it was formally offshore). This is only possible because of the new

Timely report ahead of Govt's Clean Power 2030 response (expected tomorrow) highlighting just how significant the Welsh, Scottish & N Irish Govts are for delivering renewables (look at wind 👇) Cross-Govt collaboration has definitely been increasing, and we need it to continue

Have to say, although there's lots to like about the Climate and Nature Bill, I can also see why MPs will be voting against it. Communities are always consulted on new wind farms, we don't need to legislate for that. The issue here is how you demonstrate community support. We

Isn't a bit difficult to claim renewables aren't delivering low cost electricity - whilst at the same time announcing new policies to deter farmers from investing in solar farms, which they're currently doing because they generate low cost electricity...

Nice to end the day with some uplifting news - the UK & India agreeing to work more closely to roll out renewables And lovely that they were joined by UK offshore wind companies like Venterra. He's Ed Miliband & Lizzi Collinge MP visiting a one of their factories in Morecambe last

This morning, Today on BBC Radio 4 had the Energy Secretary, Ed Miliband, on to discuss the costs of energy, among other things. Veteran presenter justin webb made a few dodgy claims. Sky News and Wilfred Frost were at it too. Let's examine 🧐

Many politicians - Tony Blair just the latest - appear more sceptical about public support for net zero agenda than evidence suggests is warranted. Most recent YouGov poll found 61% of UK voters support govt plans on this, with just 24% opposed.  Evidence also suggests Labour

It's astounding how people can ignore the fact Government spent £42 billion shielding taxpayers from the skyrocketing price of gas two years ago - the equivalent of all its spending on transport infrastructure this year - and that gas is still driving our high wholesale prices.

The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country! Utterly insane and destructive. It gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future.
