I loved Sam revealing more of himself and what he is to Nate (and to us). I love that he referred to them as “make-believes”. I also found it interesting that the make-believes seem to have different colors. #ppspdspot

I definitely could connect with the part where all of the kids at school were talking about their extravagant vacations and spending time in their vacation homes. This sounds a lot like our school after a holiday break. #jpnewkid

I was struck by this statement on pg. 119, in response to Claire saying, “big step.” Morgan thinks, “And it is. Because her legs are so much longer than mine. For me, every step is bigger.” Morgan is being forced to take so many steps that are big in his family. #ppspdspot

When Morgan says he never told Claire about how much he didn’t like it when the code started to change because it would hurt too much, I wonder if he meant it would hurt her too much to hear or him too much to say? #ppspdspot
