A lovely few days in P3/4 developing our Literacy skills, revising 2D Shapes and 3D Objects in class and outdoors too! We also explored a seeds journey into becoming a plant also 😁 Thornlie

We’ve been working very hard on our Literacy skills, improving every day! We have been learning about compass points and giving directions. We worked on movement, footwork & speed in PE! Always busy in P3/4 😁 Thornlie

We have been learning to follow simple directions to make a journey, and we also made lego mazes for people to give directions also! Inspired by “The Colour Monster” we created our own Feelings Monsters this afternoon 😁 Thornlie

Lots of hard work and enthusiasm today on a beautiful Monday. We continue to work hard on our words of the week, challenging ourselves at Number Talks and taking risks in PE. I loved the creativity with L writing a story through our Minecraft context! Thornlie

P3/4 are loving symmetry this week! Yesterday for outdoor learning we took notes of what we liked about our playground and presented it this afternoon. Lots of children becoming confident using Minecraft Education also 😁 Thornlie

A snapshot of the success in P3/4. We have enjoyed our outdoor learning experiences, learning more about Basketball in the classroom and how technology has evolved! I am so proud of the achievements of all children and look forward to our final month together 💛 Thornlie

P3/4 learned how to follow a recipe to make chocolate chip cookies. The children who helped make them worked so hard and enjoyed the fruits of their labour. Other children chose to role play working at a bakery or build their own bakery on Minecraft Education 😁 Thornlie

A brilliant morning at the Sports Day Races. Everyone had a positive attitude and tried their very best. Well done to the winners of Fastest Boy & Girl in Primary 3 and 4! Thornlie
