Giant Snowball Rolling with Kindergarten! A fun and easy winter activity using exercise balls! Added a cooperative challenge as well with students rolling the snowball with a partner! Thank you to ROSA PE for the idea! ☃️

Down the Chimney!🎅🏠  A holiday version of Cone Catchers from OPEN Phys Ed! Students toss the presents (bean bags) down the chimney (large cone). A fun cooperative activity working on underhand tossing in #PhysEd!

The JINGLE JOG! We used jingle bracelets (thanks to our music teacher) and had some fun with fitness in #PhysEd! Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday! 🔔

To encourage kindness, students are working to “Brighten Someone’s Day” in our class! By giving a compliment, including others, etc. students can earn a pair of sunglasses to show they were caught being kind in #PhysEd! 😎 Thank you to Sarah G-H for the inspiration!

We added a new unit in #PhysEd this year…..ROLLERBLADING! Our students are doing an amazing job and it’s so fun watching their confidence go up each week!

During our school assembly today, we gave some of our #PhysEd students a chance to SHINE during our Rollerblading Showcase! It was so fun watching our students show off their skills to end our Rollerblading Unit! ⭐️

One of my former students asked if he could come and volunteer in my #PhysEd class after his morning classes at the High School. He comes back and helps out at the school he attended in K-4th grade! He’s interested in going to college to be a PE Teacher! How awesome is that?

We got to surprise our students at school today! Thanks to the Middlebranch PTO and Guardian Bikes, we are going to teach our Kindergarten and 1st grade students how to ride a bike in #PhysEd! 🚲
