Students were given a scenario where they had $10 to spend at a store. After writing/drawing what they would purchase, we deciphered if they were a want or need.

We are so lucky to be exploring real animals in our animal unit. We made so many observations about our goldfish. For example, one student noticed that their eyes are on the sides of their head so they can notice predators.

Yesterday, we experienced our step-up day. We were invited into Jamie Gray first grade class, read a story, and brainstormed/learned what we would need for our first day of first grade!

Really enjoyed seeing how Mrs. Baxter class did with showing collaboration within their math addition/subtraction fluency stations today.
