I get so much joy/excitement from watching my undergraduate research advisees present at a conference for the first time! My student, Rishab Borah, gave a great talk on the NP/DP parameter as it relates to Assamese at this year’s WECOL. 🤩

I just found out that 10 students are registered for my advisor’s field methods class in the spring, and I’m so excited. She also told me that multiple students who registered highlighted that I strongly encouraged them to do so 🤗

The 17th annual meeting of the Illinois Language and Linguistics Society will take place March 7-8, 2025 at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Submissions of any field are welcomed. Deadline is January 31st, 2025. Link in our bio!
