This week in #class11 the children have been writing missing posters to try and find the baby mammoth from our story. We have focussed on our punctuation and describing words. Look at some of our wonderful posters! Year1@MonksdownSchool Monksdown Reads

#class43 had a crazy crafting afternoon for European Day of Languages. We looked at Turkey and the beautiful mosques. Then we made our own mosques from patterned paper. They look absolutely amazing 🕌 🇹🇷 Miss Spalvieri MonksdownRE MonksdownMakes

Year 5 have been learning what the bible teaches Christians about how the world began through Genesis I. They acted out scenes, became theologians to study the story and they then picked out their favourite quotes to plan and make artwork in the style of artist Hannah Dunnett!🌏
