I have learned that the key to being successful in med school is to be efficient with studying. Don’t study lectures, study practice problems they give you and work backwards to fill in gaps. Only took me my whole M1 year to figure this out #MedTwitter

Pediatrician here. I want people to know that death by firearm is not rare in kids. In fact, it has been the #1 cause death in this age group since 2020. In 2020 alone, 4300 children died from firearms. That’s equivalent to one Boeing 747 plane crash every month for 9 months.

If a weapon is so dangerous that a squad of police officers are too afraid to confront a single person wielding it, that weapon should be banned.

Had a repairman over for a quote, and as I was explaining the issue, my husband walked in, and suddenly the repairman couldn’t see or hear me. But that’s okay, he had a nice conversation with my husband and I hired someone else to do the job.

The weird thing about reading so much as a child and gaining a huge vocabulary from that is I can’t define a lot of the words I use, I just…know that they would fit correctly in a specific sentence? Does anyone else experience that?
