Both sides emphasized the transparency, accountability &monitoring of humanitarian activities &the need for closer coordination among stakeholders.

7/2/22 Meeting #MOF counterparts Nazir Kabiri, Country Dir. of #WFP @McgroartyME provided update on the humanitarian situation &food distribution in Afg. The meeting stressed the importance of monitoring & a hybrid (cash & in-kind) delivery mechanism of humanitarian aid in Afg.

Had the pleasure of receiving Turkish Ambassador Cihad Erginay at MoF Policy Department. Discussed market-led recovery & importance of Turkish investments & engagement that could help stability & development. Appreciated Turkey’s humanitarian assistance & d need for easing up custom procedures

Special envoy ICRC Dr. Colin Bruce reassured ICRC Afghanistan's vital commitment in paying salaries of the health personnel. We discussed issues pertaining to economy, basic services & future of humanitarian & development cooperation that can benefit the people of #Afghanistan

Pleasure meeting President & CEO Janti Soeripto of Save the Children US int’l. Thanked her for standing with #AFG children. Discussion focused on humanitarian & economic hardship also affecting 2/3rd of children. We stressed for vital services: healthcare, shelter & food support.
