To try to suggest that what Mr Cummings did was not a breach of the lockdown is never going to work. It drags everyone into making completely unconvincing statements and (ludicrously) claiming the issue is being politicised. This diminishes everyone.

Fantastic to see Spain is willing to reopen its borders with no quarantine period from July 1. As the rest of the world are opening their borders, we are slamming ours shut. It's not a well thought through policy, it will have far-reaching consequences - we need a rethink.
