In Aramaic "Baluto" literally means oak! The ancient language is still spoken today by the Syriacs-Assyrians of the Turabdin region in Turkey. We labelled this wine "Baluto" to honor the local flora of the Tur Abdin region including the ancient oak trees and their precious acorns
