Check out this blogpost from Fabrizio Frasca @ ICML 2025 (Vancouver) and the GLOW reading group on the future of graph learning! I’ve also contributed and my main take is - its actually working and its an exciting moment to work on applications!

🌟 Tune in for GLOW's summer session this Wednesday! 🗓️ July 2nd, 5pm CEST on Zoom! 🌴Baran Hashemi will present Tropical Attention for algo reasoning (arxiv.org/abs/2505.17190) 🧪 Jeremy Wayland will tell us about the intricacies of benchmarking GNNs (arxiv.org/abs/2502.02379)

Excited to announce the Reliable ML workshop at NeurIPS Conference 2025! 📣 How do we build trustworthy models under distribution shift, adversarial attacks, strategic behavior, and missing data? Fantastic lineup of speakers/panelists: Ahmad Beirami (Ahmad Beirami), Surbhi Goel

On Thursday, 7th of August, Franka Bause successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled "Efficient and Expressive Graph Learning". This is the first doctoral thesis completed in my working group at Universität Wien and I am truly impressed by the results. Congratulations Franka Bause!

check out this PhD opportunity for female students from Africa at UPF Barcelona : upf.edu/web/phd-engine… i have hired my amazing student Nneka Okolo via this program, which was a great success. hope i can find someone this time as well! let me know if you have any questions

Wanna chat with an experienced learning theory researcher? We have open office hours online with four awesome folks, Surbhi Goel (Surbhi Goel), Gautam Kamath (Gautam Kamath), Ayush Sekhari (Ayush Sekhari), Lydia Zakynthinou (Lydia Zakynthinou)! Book a slot and ask them anything!
