❌ Despite strong cross-party support and passionate speeches from MPs, the Planning and Infrastructure Bill committee voted against the Chalk Stream Protection amendment. Chalk streams are one of our most special habitats and yet we are failing them.

🚨EXCLUSIVE 🚨 After obtaining reams of internal docs, I have a new story out revealing how govt has sat on plans to tighten rules letting water companies SELL sewage sludge fertiliser contaminated with PFAS & microplastics. Read it in The Guardian, and.. theguardian.com/environment/20…

For years, the Environment Agency advised ministers sewage sludge could be spreading toxic waste & microplastics over farmland. For years they were ignored. Tess Colley writes: share.google/mpssPq9OOP8HXY…

Heathrow is submitting its plans for a 3rd runway today. It’ll mean 15,000 losing their homes, more noise for 2 million Londoners, the government missing its climate change targets & inevitably Heathrow coming for tax payer subsidies. For all these reasons, say no to the 3rd runway

John McDonnell (@johnmcdonnellmp) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Just to give you some idea of the impact of Heathrow’s plans for a 3rd runway, this is Harmondsworth village, one of the 4 Heathrow villages that will be wiped off the face of the earth by Heathrow.15,000 people will lose their homes & community to profit a foreign owned company.
