We are so back

I spent the past week traveling Virginia and the DC-Maryland area with USGA Agronomist Brian Gietka, CGCS, visiting golf courses and meeting great superintendents. Excited to work with the USGA again next week at the Philadelphia Cricket Club for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.

Week one in the books at RTJ. The “wow” factor is still in effect (most definitely will continue) and it’s awesome to be apart of this team for the rest of the summer. This place is truly special and I’m honored to be apart the 2024 Intern Class.

It's hard to turn down the opportunity to play on a 19th-century golf course that has hosted two U.S. Opens. Of course, I had to use the ol’ hickory clubs. I’d say Sam Snead used up all the hickory power for kids who grew up in Hot Springs. Thanks to a friendly PCC1854 member.
