A shocking year for all cash crops here this year but covers are getting going now! Powered by a sprinkle of layer manure, chopped straw and sun... happy soil😊

Very light sandy soil.... right picture the preceding wheat crop yielded far more than the left. Same field and had layer manure all over post harvest, pre drilling. N availability??
