Daniel J Drucker beat me to it! Our study in Diabetes, a research journal of the ADA 🧪 is online! Spoiler alert…we found an mRNA #translation mechanism in the #beta cell that regulates “on-demand” protein synthesis. Coolest finding-#Insulin is translationally regulated! My brain is still reeling from #MIC2024! One of the best #islet #trainee meetings in the country! If you’re in the midwest or are Midwest adjacent, you definitely need to come to this conference! Also bc (spoiler alert) next year if you do, you’ll get to Visit Indy!
