Ismatulla has been in Direct Provision for 14 months and needs assistance. We’ve set up this fundraiser to help buy an electric wheelchair for him. Please share gofund.me/c2d4d644

We called for same for people fleeing war in the Ukraine and for government to recognise the time spent in the asylum process for people granted refugee status, subsidiary protection, and permission to remain. Helen McEntee TD refused. Will Jim O'Callaghan TD do differently?

Asylum seekers in Kilbride Army Camp Direct Provision Centre are threatened with eviction if they sign in every day. You’d think CA v Minister for Justice and Equality outlawed this practice.

We're not turning a blind eye, we haven't stopped demanding sanctions on Israel for almost two years. But our government is refusing to enact the legislation, and won't end Ireland’s complicity in this genocide. That means you Tánaiste.

The real question you should be answering is what does Israel have to do (that they haven’t done already) for your government to impose sanctions against them?

We’ve previously made submissions to UN Committees highlighting this. 100s of asylum-seeking children have disappeared without a trace over the years and there is no urgency to address this at political leadership level. thejournal.ie/tusla-unaccomp…

Two days ago, Israel assassinated nine Iranian scientists — university professors and researchers — in targeted airstrikes. Some of them were killed together with their families. Western media is acting as if this is an act of war. Yet, this is a war crime, here’s why. 🧵 1/

Paul Laverty: instagram.com/reel/DLcOW2ttM… Terrific piece of work by KneeCap team on legal obligations under the Genocide Convention. Article 3 - on collusion - in a just world it would lead to the prosecution of British Cabinet.
