Lost his life this day 12th.August 1940. Sgt. Josef Kwiecinski. Polish One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Kwiecin… He failed to return from combat off the Isle of Wight in his Hurricane and was reported “Missing’.

Lost his life this day 12th.August 1940. PO. John Allison George Chomley. Rhodesian One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Chomley… He was reported ‘Missing’ after a combat with enemy aircraft off Portsmouth. His Hurricane crashed into the sea. Age 20.
