Oh well, it looks like my MBP battery is dead. I can't imagine I'll ever again code on the Mac for fun. And the industry is telling me I'll never code again for money! So I guess that's the end of another proprietary chapter...

Hot take: Modern AI systems are very useful, but not very profitable. (I have several problems that GenAI could solve effectively, but no one would pay for that information. So it'd be done on my time and dime, to only ever appear in the footnote of a specialist publication.)
