I’m struggling to ID these tiny bees. There were 30-40 buzzing along a chalk path. The females were burrowing into the hard bare ground (a path). There were plenty of Dark-edged Beeflys and Goodens Nomads Bees around. Lassioglossum or Halictus. Steven Falk Bumblebee Conservation Trust

Thousands of Willow Ermine Moths recently hatched, covering the trees Stanwick Lakes. Covered in ichneumon wasps too. Never seen anything like it.
