The Brighton & Hove City Council budget underspend shows what we have always known: the decision of Brighton & Hove Labour Party/Bella Sankey to cut Bright Start Nursery was a political choice. The nursery could be kept open, and the building repaired with a fraction of this money.

In January, the Houthis sentenced 32 men, 9 to death, for the "crime" of supposedly being gay. They killed them by crucifixion and stoning. Some who were sentenced to prison were publicly flogged. The Houthis are not "progressive," and no activist should be cheering them on.
