Since its inception, FLAC has played a key role in developing State Cancer Control Plans, establishing State Cancer Funds, raising awareness, and mobilizing resources to make cancer prevention, screening, and treatment more accessible, particularly for underserved communities.

The coalition has also led HPV vaccination campaigns, delivered thousands of free screenings, and championed policies that promote early detection and equitable healthcare access.
