One of the things I like about rounding at our community based hospital is hearing a colleague walk by the door and catching them in the hall to have a 3 specialty discussion of a patient we’re all concerned about when the Hospitalist walks up too. #noroutineinfection

There's a special feeling when you finally turn in that paper, submit that grant, or give that presentation you've been preparing for weeks. It's when you get to close all those open tabs in your browser that you just might need......#priceless #MedEd #digitalhoarder

Used trigonometry today. With that calculator in my pocket that I was assured I wouldn’t be carrying with me everywhere I go back in high school. #iphone

It’s a bit self aggrandizing - but on this doctor’s day I truly am grateful to the docs who took care of my wife and other family members through the years. As I hear stories of residents unionizing I can't help but ponder the face that I dreamt of nightfloat last night. The stress, fatigue, and fear were just as real. It's been 3 years since I had the pleasure. Sometimes change is hard and equally necessary #MedEd

Call me odd but when my office gets a new poc diagnostic test I like reading the package insert. Understanding your diagnostics matters. #Medtwitter
