Kobus is a great player, really do love him in a Bok jersey but he has been too slow this year, Jaden has been so slick starting today much better for the Boks Breyton Paulse #RSAvARG #RugbyChampionship

Hey All Blacks I see your favourite wife beater is back at his shenanigans again. But hey, as long as he can play some footie all is forgiven hey

I absolutely love rugby, #ITAvIRE #6nations2025 sees 2 more entitled Irish players retiring without a RWC title to their names. Just delicious!

It was a recommendation in the Committee report, not an amendment to the fiscal framework and revenue proposals, wherein the tax hike proposal lies. Action SA has made a proposal supporting the fiscal framework and revenue proposals - which include the VAT Hike. They then asked

Any party that votes to increase the Value Added Tax BEFORE cutting the number of cabinet ministers, official vehicles and houses and their bodyguards and “protocol officers” can just forget about ever getting MY vote. ActionSA RISE Mzansi Democratic Alliance

All this debate around who influenced the VAT decision is hilarious. I mean it’s perfectly clear: Gondwana filed an affidavit 100% defending the VAT increase in every sense. He then asked to settle, after he was torn to shreds in court. I mean it’s not rocket science.

FACT 1: The DA, EFF, MK & FF+ voted against VAT increase. FACT 2: The DA & EFF took the matter to court. FACT 3: They were clearly winning the case. FACT 4: The ANC tried to reach an urgent out-of-court settlement with the DA. FACT 5: VAT hike stopped - due to court action.

The VAT fiasco. Courtesy of Grok: The VAT Hike Debacle: Opportunism, Deletions, and a Banana Republic Blunder South Africa’s VAT hike fiasco is not just a policy failure; it’s a national embarrassment that exposes the fragility of its coalition government and the opportunism

We always told the voters that a vote for a small party is effectively a vote for @My_ANC. Let's hope that message now gets across.

Here Athol Trollip of ActionSA admits that it was the threat of losing the VAT court case that made the ANC lead treasury backtrack on the VAT hike, we all knew this already but thanks for confirming that!

I just returned to JHB from Brussels. While there, I saw this amazing invention. Locals there call it a train. It runs on steel tracks & is a cheap transport method for large volumes of people. We should ask ANC SECRETARY GENERAL | Fikile Mbalula if we could perhaps get some of these "trains" for JHB.
