Happy to see our paper published in Global Change Biology. Regional invasion history and land use shape the prevalence of non-native species in local assemblages for birds, mammals and vascular plants. Please see: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.11…
¡Nueva app!
A study published in Ecology Letters shows that #tree and shrubs canopies are 💘climate shelters💘 for various #plant species in the wild 🌿✨ Their shade create small oases that better retain moisture and keep temperatures more stable 🌲🌳
Very good news! Our new review paper lead by Dr. Moudrý is published in Ecography. Take a look to dive into sample size, positional uncertainty, sampling bias, and species ecology individual and combined effects on Species Distribution Models. nsojournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ec…
I'm happy to see this paper out in Journal of Ecology ! Drought effects in Mediterranean forests are not alleviated by diversity-driven water source partitioning. Great work with Grossiord Charlotte AlbertoVilagrosa Luna Morcillo Julià Fernando Valladares! besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/13…
Climatic disequilibrium in #tree cover is frequent in protected areas worldwide (& losing it poses a serious risk to #biodiversity)—implications for #conservation & #restoration, notably high relevancy of trophic #rewilding-see our new study in Journal of Vegetation Science🌳🦬onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/jv…

De los 21 incendios >15000 hectáreas ocurridos en España des de 1968, ocho sucedieron en 1994. Los ingredientes para tener un año parecido siguen existiendo, a pesar de las mejoras en extinción y prevención. By Pau Alemany elpais.com/clima-y-medio-…
In our new article in Nature Plants, led by Kun Guo and Wenyong Guo, we investigated Elton's naturalization hypothesis using a large dataset of Czech non-forest vegetation. This hypothesis states that species-rich communities are more resistant to invasion by alien species.
"This paper offers a new framework based on the internal structure of species’ ranges for understanding and predicting among-species variation in range-shifting responses to climate change." - Neil Gilbert 📃 Read the paper here: buff.ly/4d3Bwyz
