* The top 50% did very well
* The 25-50% bottom income groups did ok
* The bottom 25% did terribly

Blue line: Blair
* The bottom 30% did well
* Everyone else did OK

Teal Line: Lib / Tories
* Every group did badly
* Best results don't match Blair's worst

Again, more crucial data highlighting how aggregate looks at the locals are ignoring the essential details. Labour's vote increase since 2021 is very concentrated in Con-held areas - their vote efficiency has massively improved, rendering UNS projections inaccurate.

At a time of such division and fear, we need politicians who will work to secure community cohesion, not undermine it. Mr Ali’s record speaks for itself and if the The Green Party is serious about dealing with antisemitism rather than just paying lip service to it in meetings with…

Exciting times for Galloway's Workers Party of Britain with a raft of candidates announced for the 2024 general election. These include Carla Parrish in Stoke North promising to tackle 'Muz' birthrates, 'Pakistani paedos', 'Zionist puppets' & 'Rothschild globalists'. What could go wrong?

Dilemma:

▪️social scientist me wants to correct this nonsense about “projected national shares” that the Tories, some media and some academics who should know better

▪️political me wants them to carry on - they’re helping Lab and LDs galvanise supporters and avoid complacency😂

A big shout out to The Labour Party candidates who lost their seats/position and those candidates who weren’t one of the Labour gains
Not winning in elections when you see so many colleagues winning and celebrating is tough
Thank you for stepping up and being on the ballot

Today, on Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jewish men, women and children who were murdered during the Holocaust.

We must all stand united against all forms of hatred.

Today we mark Yom Hashoah, when Jews around the world remember all those we lost in the Holocaust.

Amidst rising antisemitism, it is upon us all to stand up to anti-Jewish racism wherever we find it.

We must bear witness to prevent the horrors of the Shoah from being repeated.

York and North Yorkshire result has gone under the radar a bit - but Labour won it by 14,000 votes.

This isn't some red wall former Labour stronghold - this is true blue territory.

Labour encouraged by reception in Mid Beds, Selby and now North Yorks.

An interesting section of my local election spreadsheet: votes cast in 2024 in constituencies where Labour needs a swing *beyond* that needed for an overall majority. Quite a few of them turned red last Thursday.
