Ss attended a training session on School Bus Safety today St. Isabel Catholic Elementary School We looked at: 1. Safety rules on the bus 2. Waiting at the stop and getting on the bus 3. School bus danger zone 4. Safely crossing the road and evacuating the bus 🚌

Grade 4,5 & 6 students St. Isabel Catholic Elementary School enjoyed a fabulous day skiing at Mount Pakenham! First time experience for most! They demonstrated grit and perseverance to ski & at the end of the day they all said “Best Day Ever!!” #ocsbOpenDoors

Huge thank you goes to Melissa Boyer and Ms. Hudson (she/her) for organizing such a fun Winter Carnival St. Isabel Catholic Elementary School with snow soccer, sledding, parachuting, tug of war, snowshoeing and hot chocolate stations. Good broomball game with teachers vs grade 6 students at the end of day 🏂

The perfect weather, exciting activities, and plenty of creativity and collaboration made our Winter Carnival a fantastic day! Huge thanks to Ms. Hudson (she/her) and Melissa Boyer for organizing such a fun event for our Eagles! ❄️

It was such a gift to have Fr. Kevin Beach visit our Grade 6s today for a Q&A! The students had lots of great questions, many of which centered around the pope—how one is chosen, becomes pope, and what the role entails. An engaged audience and a great conversation!

We kicked off Catholic Education Week #CathEdWewk St. Isabel Catholic Elementary School with a morning of Magnificent Arcade Games. Gr. 6s hosted all classes to showcase their creations using AI tools and ended the day with prayer in colour as a whole school @ocsbRE #ocsbHope #ocsbCEW #ocsbBeCommunity
