Local 79 laborers working John F. Kennedy Airport were greeted by @GPBrentBooker as well as International V.P./Eastern Reg Mgr. Mike Hellstrom, Mason Tenders’ Bus. Mgr. Dave Bolger, & Laborers Local 79 Bus. Mgr. Anthony Vita. The #LiUNA union leaders toured the brand new terminals & met w/ members.

Rishi became a member of Laborers Local 79 after Hurricane Sandy, when the city needed help rebuilding. Since then, he has been personally affected by the effects of climate change and knows that unions have a role in both responding to and preventing climate disasters. #ClimateWeek
