The St. Louis Fire Dept responded for a house fire in the 5200 block of Ridge @ 6am. If not for the presence of working smoke alarms, which woke the occupants we would not be able to report that all 7 occupants made it out safely. STL City DPS
This is what happens when you leave lit candles unattended. A candle was left in a bathroom window. Fortunately the St. Louis Fire Dept was able to put the fire out quickly before it made its way out of the bathroom. City of St. Louis NFPA
Your St. Louis Fire Dept and St. Louis Metropolitan Police were on hand canvassing the 4700 block of McMillan and the 4700 block of Vernon. Along with multiple City of St. Louis agencies. Forestry, towing, and building divisions were all on hand, cleaning, towing and offering services.
Your St. Louis Fire Dept was honored to present bicycles and gift bags with an encouraging word to these students at Jefferson Elementary Saint Louis Public Schools for their hard work, academically during this challenging school year. Your City of St. Louis serving to make a difference.

Last night, the The St. Louis Wheel, Saint Louis Science Center, & Missouri History Museum, all gleamed red to #lightthenight from dusk til dawn during the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend while members of #yourfiredepartment held a salute to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
