A new public space on the bank of the River Thames. I was pleased to open Heathwall Quay in Nine Elms, marking the latest milestone in the delivery of London’s Thames Tideway super sewer project and providing Londoners with unbroken access to the river.

Delighted to join HRH The Princess Royal to mark the completion of the Tideway Tunnel. This project is transforming the tidal Thames, dramatically reducing sewage discharges and creating new public spaces on the river for all Londoners.
