Prior to starting our NF unit, my readers organized/categorized their NF library. They created temporary labels (yes I see the misspelled words…not the focus rn 🤪) and chose bins. They are PROUD and OWN this space! 🤩

Students are buying a Thanksgiving feast and using exactly $250 to do it. We priced our items, and now they are using their addition and subtraction strategies to figure out exactly what they can buy. Math being relatable to real life makes math fun! 🦃➕➖
