By many accounts, the US will have 100 million vaccine doses by February. I estimated yesterday that we need ~100 million people to gain immunity via vaccination to reach herd immunity. So *theoretically*, we can reach herd immunity by March if we vaccinate the right people.

If nothing else you have to admire Buffett + Munger at 90 + 97 for getting to spend 3 hours on a Saturday drinking Diet Cokes with good friends shooting the sh*t on stocks, politics, taxes and life 😊

The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead. Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.

Stop complaining about the turnover in Britain. You don't seem to get it. It is much healthier and more stable than Russia, Saudi Arabia, and other nations that have NO turnover. The virtue of the system is that it does not depend on a single person.

heard something like this 3 times this week: "our recent grads are now much more productive than people who have worked here for years because they've really learned how to use ChatGPT".

India has the third-highest number of unicorn startups worth over $1 billion, after the U.S. and China. But per capita, the unicorn distribution worldwide looks very different. Both China and India lag behind even Europe, while the U.S. is on par with Israel and Singapore.

My definition of “Life’s Work:” “A lifelong quest to build something for others that expresses who you are” 3 parts to the definition, all important… “A LIFELONG QUEST” reflects the reality that work isn’t about a series of accomplishments, which ultimately ring hollow.

There are so many great product ideas that would bring so much value to society—but would be absolutely gruelling to build and will completely ruin your life. That’s why we have 1st time founders.

One of the most interesting (and also frightening) things about AI is how difficult it is to predict what will happen. My kids ask me what's going to happen, and all I can say is that there will be huge changes, and I can't predict what they'll be.

The unpredictability of America for the foreseeable future is more serious than the tariffs themselves. Companies can’t make long-term decisions if policy is made and changed on a whim. Much of the rest of the world will respond by creating U.S.-free supply chains.
