WAYRTTD is the first thinking tool I learned at Stripe. It stands for “What Are You 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 Trying To Do” WAYRTTD is a trusted friend anytime I’m confused about a problem. And at some point, the WAYRTTD approach becomes hardwired ⇒ faster clarity & greater effectiveness.

Me in my youth: wish my tastes were less mainstream so I can be unique and cool. Me now: wish my tastes were more mainstream so I can better understand how to design for folks at scale. Every weakness is a strength; every strength is a weakness. Depends on the narrative.

If developers don’t challenge Product Owners, we tend to build too simple solutions. And if Product Owners don’t challenge the developers, we tend to develop too complex solutions for the problem we want solved. The right balance is vital to thrive. #prodmgmt #agile #leadership

My favourite read this week: how clever copywriting can increase conversion. I especially enjoy the connection to human psychology & enforcement of experimentation + comes back to "surprise & delight" UX. Rishi Rawat 's checklist is super insightful frictionless-commerce.com/blog/conversio… #ux

When you listen to Scott Galloway & Kara Swisher discuss how breaking up Facebook will lead to innovation at Whatsapp on Pivot & and then learn it has ambitions to become a shopping platform! #conversationalcommerce could be the next accelerator for the fashion industry.

True domain expertise is domain knowledge minus domain dogma. True domain insight is domain expertise plus creativity. The more complex & constrained the domain, the more vital it becomes to seek domain insight.

Performing this changes everything for the better: 1) View bright light (ideally sunlight) in the am for 10-30 min. 2) Cold exposure (shower, ice bath or to-neck plunge). 3-6min. 3) Delay caffeine until 90–120m post waking. 4) No bright light or screen viewing 10pm-4am.

Shreyas Doshi Can't put my finger on when it finally clicked, but it started in 2018 with youtube.com/watch?v=V-UvSK… I realized they're right! I'm consuming all this educational content and can't tell you much what I heard/ learned. So I started doing the Feynman technique for everything.

People don't have short attention spans: • They binge 14 hour Netflix seasons • They listen to 3 hour Joe Rogan episodes They have short *consideration spans:* they must be hooked quickly. Point: Don't fear making in-depth content, but ensure your beginning is incredible.

Couldn’t think of a better snapshot of what my last year at The RealReal looked like. As the product partner- building out the growth engine alongside Sri Batchu🇺🇸 was some of the most energizing work of my career. Learned a ton, shipped boldly, & had fun doing it. Worth the read.
