Exactly. The left-wing error here is “Loving our enemies is good; so punishing evildoers is suspect.” The right-wing error here is “Punishing evildoers is good; so loving our enemies is suspect.” These errors feed off of one another. Both must be resisted, without compromise.

This is very succinctly and well-put. There is a difference between one individual's duty towards another individual, and the state's duty towards the common good.

The H-1B visa program has been abused and exploited for years at the expense of American workers. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration to close additional loopholes and continue putting American workers first.

🚨Our office has issued a warning to the Indianapolis-Marion City-County Council that using budget cuts to restrict the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) from cooperating with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would violate Indiana law and threaten public safety.

The H1-b visa program is a scam. It’s been used to import cheap foreign labor at the expense of Americans. That is not justifiable in any event, but it is especially galling when artificial intelligence is forecast to reduce a significant number of white collar jobs.

Extending COVID-era ACA subsidies may or may not be necessary at this juncture, practically or politically, but it sure seems like relying on "enhanced" payments to carriers in perpetuity is just masking the underlying problem of affordability.

Q is whether Dems will be politically lucky enough to find a standard bearer who satisfies the crazy-pugilist itch while also moderating on a few key issues -- the Trump-2016 cocktail: x.com/MattZeitlin/st…

The Trump administration's "compact" is reasonable, fair, nonpartisan, and in the best interest of the United States. If the universities fail to come to an agreement, the administration should simply make it a condition for public funding—and cut off all funding for holdouts.
