Steve we need more GPs. There simply isn't enough of us. In fact we need any clinicians Steve's response: Money for a telephone system we implemented last year Money to pharmacies #notaclue #getthislotout

Med students leaving the NHS as soon as they can When asked reasons: "Pay, NHS culture and seen so many seniors burnt out" How can you argue that opinion? You can't That's why people then say "it's your calling or make them sign a contract to stay to pay training back"

PROD Workflow Mailer The current email enemy of NHS doctors giving them daily reminders that their GMC registration expires in August. Least noone has replied all to it

Who is this "We" The NHS workforce plan keeps talking about? "We" have no buildings to train more staff. "We" have no funding to pay appropriate wages to staff. "We" think this workforce plan has not listened to "us". "We" think the NHS won't be saved by "YOUR" plan.

Exactly. The current staff don't like working in current NHS. Shouldn't we make it more welcoming to stay in the NHS. NHS England: Nah. Train more of them. Keep working standards the same. Just tweak the course so they're not recognised internationally...

kingsfund.org.uk/publications/n… "A failure to act to retain existing staff would be fatal to the NHS and the health of the nation – again, this needs sustained action over the long-term to make the NHS a better place to work." Just three independents passing opinion #HappyBirthdayNHS

Wait this isn't common knowledge? ARRS funding example: Govt: If you recruit a pharmacist you can have £59,312 All PCNs: we've tried to recruit a pharmacist but there's not enough to go around. Can we use the money for something else? Govt: No Repeat for other roles...

My learning points to GPs supervising. Don't forget to add a debrief note with any person you're supervising F12 protocol on EMIS Auto-consult on systemone It is also wise to try and read consult prior to debrief as (IMHO) gives it more objectivity hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2023-0…

GPs: Health minister there's a massive leak in the bath and we need to fix it as the after level is going down catastrophically Health minister: It's ok I've added more water in. GPs: What about the leak? Health minister:What leak, I fixed it. The problem is retention

Official quote from a secondary care provider's manager who kicked off that we weren't doing a Med3 for a patient we haven't seen for over a year. "We don't do fit notes, we're secondary care" I wish this was made up. It isn't.

They all think it's over..... It's only just beginning. What will happen next? Snide comments. Incident reporting over non events. Still trying to enforce this with "whose food is this". E-mail warfare. It's like we've seen things like this before...on multiple wards

Parody Top Tip When doing a referral to secondary care simply write when you would like the patient to be seen. Please could you see this patient in the next 4 weeks..... This is what secondary care do on discharge letters and expect us to dance to their tune. #oneteam

"Legal responsibility for prescribing lies with the doctor or health professional who signs the prescription" This is genuinely not safe...if it goes tits up it's only coming down on the doctor. google.com/url?sa=t&sourc…
