Unclear why 22 y/os should be paying social security $ to 75 y/o homebuyers. It is a serious political question. Young Americans are paying into a system they have no realistic expectation of benefiting from, given demographics & the government’s own financial forecasts.

Remember when people thought that immigrants would undermine American economic institutions and import 3rd world style governance? Turns out the real danger was the people who hated immigrants the most.

The Everglades detention camp has been in operation for nearly two months and it took a federal lawsuit to force the Trump admin to designate a court for people to be able to seek bond as required by law.

Children. Injured children. Blocked from getting treatment and care here because a nutjob grifter who once got banned from Uber for harassing Muslim cab drivers is now arguably more powerful than the Secretary of State.

My platoon only rarely used these up-armored v-hull monstrosities in Afghanistan because they were SO alienating to everyone around us. B/c we weren’t looking for a fight These guys aren’t beating the military occupation allegations. This is meant to intimidate you.

It’s very dangerous to have an explicitly partisan police force. Under normal circumstances, this officer would be disciplined. But he can’t even be identified. And it’s not out of the question that he wouldn’t be rewarded by this administration.

Also people may roll their eyes at a federal agent saying that “liberals already ruined” society, but that’s…incredibly inappropriate. Law enforcement have insane amounts of power. No one should want officers who openly disdain half of society.

Once when I lived a little east of there I found a guy on the street unable to walk. 3:30am on my way to work. I called 911 and stayed with him until the DC police and fire dept. came. Situation was managed without spending my tax dollars on the FBI, DEA, HSI, Park Police, etc.

Read my interview with the Houston Chronicle. “I just say very simply, it is very wrong what they’re doing to Texas and it is very wrong what they’re trying to do in California. It is not at all serving the people. It is serving the party.”

Those kids are ready for school & (we assume) on time. She has nothing exposed that would be co sidereal inappropriate for children to see. Leave people the fuck alone.

Elections are, and ought to be, largely a matter of state law and policy. We should oppose federalization efforts by any president, especially this one.

Whether it’s ICE, FBI, ATF, or another alphabet soup agency that violates an individual’s rights, Institute for Justice will be there to demand accountability. ICE unconstitutionally arrested American veteran George Retes on his way to work and held him incommunicado for 3 days. Here we come.

George Retes was a security guard who had the misfortune of driving home at the time the Trump admin was doing an immigration raid. When he asked agents to let him through, he had his car windows smashed, was dragged out, and then held for 3 days without charge.
