Utterly painful images! Were we not told ‘Never Again’ after similar images emerged from WWII concentration camps in Europe? Why are such images still with us 80 years after the Holocaust? Why don’t we hear LOUDER and more EFFECTIVE ‘stop it’ cries? Why?

May voices demanding accountability for the incompetence and poor governance that is fueling this destruction get louder and help save what green cover is left?

What can one say but ‘YUH!’ to the mentality that insist charging tolls to fire fighting engines to cross a bridge on their way to tackle forest fires? Adding insult to injury is that tax payers subsidize the operation of this bridge by billions of USDs.
