Back to cool and crisp... at least for the morning! Some patchy areas of fog are possible, but shouldn't slow us down too much. Temperatures in the 60s to start the day will lend themselves to the upper 90s by the afternoon. Sweat-tember is just getting started!

Gearing up for a TOASTY weekend! We get one more cooler morning before we crank up the heat and head into our second summer. Highs settle into the upper 90s through the weekend. The bright side? It's a dry-ish heat, so feels like temperatures won't be excessive.

SUNDAY STORMS: Head's up! Thanks to some "ripples" in the atmosphere leftover from Francine, we'll use some of the afternoon heat/moisture to our advantage today to pop up some storms. Coverage looks to be 50% or higher mid/late afternoon. Heavy rain/lightning main threats.

Back to Monday and back to the heat! A seasonable-ish start will give way to a toasty afternoon. High temperatures will reach to the upper 90s with feels-like temperatures inching into the triple digits.

It is the final week of summer, and boy is it going to feel like it! Mornings in the 70s turn to afternoons well into the 90s. With high pressure overhead rain chances will be extremely limited. Overall, things are looking toasty and dry for the Brazos Valley this week.

Rinse and repeat! A mild morning will give way to another toasty and more summer-like afternoon. Skies will be mainly clear, making it feel even warmer during the day, but should give us a pretty clear view of tonight's Super Harvest Moon.

Fall begins in just five days! (Who is gonna tell the temperatures?) Downright TOASTY the rest of this week and weekend with highs sitting in the mid to upper 90s each day. Oh, and it'll be pretty humid too bumping heat index values up to the triple digits.

Sweat-ember continues on! Muggy and mild this morning with an unseasonably hot afternoon. This looks to be the pattern throughout the rest of the week.

Stuck in the summer-like feel this week! Looking at a real copy-and-paste kind of forecast through the rest of the week with highs staying in the upper 90s. Could we find some relief next week? Eh, potentially but I'm not overly optimistic.

If this La Niña verifies, look for warmer and drier conditions for SE TX this fall and winter. #txwx #houwx #bcswx #glswx #lanina

The calendar reads September, but the weather certainly feels more like July/August! Most of the area is starting off the day near 80°, with a bit of fog, especially across our southern counties. By this afternoon, you guessed it, back to the upper 90s

Searching for that fall feel, but we are coming up short! Mild and muggy mornings persist as do afternoon high temperatures climbing to the upper 90s. There *could* be some hope for *slightly* cooler temps and some rain chances by mid-next week. Let's talk about it!

Off to a foggy start for your Thursday morning! 😶‍🌫️ Give yourself an extra few minutes to get to where you need to go!

Are we sure Fall starts this weekend? Because it sure doesn't feel like it! Another muggy start with some patchy fog this morning. Much like yesterday, we'll clear the skies and aim for high temperatures just shy of the century mark.

Summertime sizzle with fall just around the corner! A downright HOT weekend is in store for the Brazos Valley with highs sitting in the mid/upper 90s. Looking for some cooler weather, we *may* get some around mid/late next week. Also keeping eyes on the Gulf over the next week.
