Today a Kankakee Junior High student made a threat on social media. The school and police investigated the threat. Officials determined that it was not a credible threat. District and school administration teams are confident that students and staff are safe.

The school will continue to work with the student and the family to ensure that all staff and students remain safe at Kankakee Junior High School.
