Hey all! Want an update on bargaining with the American University administration? Spoiler alert: it’s not going well. They refuse to offer more than 2.1% annual adjustments—well below inflation—for academic staff, adjunct faculty, and grad student workers. Graduate Leadership Council - American University

We aren’t the only ones that think American University would benefit from paying us fairly. Here is an open letter to Sylvia M. Burwell from 88(!!!) tenured faculty urging her to settle a fair contract with grads, AU Staff Union, and adjunct faculty.
