Sooo Jaylin Lane was the 42nd WR I watched, but Iโ€™m probably gonna have him in my top 10. Feel like I gotta go back and edit every report where I called a player explosive because this is what it actually looks like

In-school lifting is one of the biggest game changers out there. Not sure if CFC does it, but making it easier for athletes to lift w/o having to come in at 6 am or stay after to do it allows all athletes to lift w/out excuse. Dramatically increases lifting rates.

An athlete who cannot bench, squat, or RDL his own body weight told me we should incorporate more sport-specific exercises into my class... ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคช Iโ€™ll get right on that, buddy.

๐Ÿ“ขIf youโ€™re a HC, help guys on your staff be HCโ€™s. If you are a coordinator, help guys on your staff become coordinators. โ€ผ๏ธYou should know the goals of the guys on your staff and do everything you can to help them achieve their goals, not use them to achieve your goals.

I see schools building huge weight rooms who have no dedicated, qualified strength coach. The weight room itself isnโ€™t what makes teams stronger and faster. The professional in that space, coaching does. A 100k weight room with no SC is like buying a 10 year old a Ferrari

Great way to cap off senior year. Set the school record in the 100 meter with a time of 11.01 as well as the 40 yard dash record with a time of 4.37 (laser). Julian Aristizabal

Train During the School Day This is the game-changer. Why? โ€ข No before-school burnout โ€ข No post-practice conflict โ€ข Built-in consistency If school is in session, training happens. Every kid benefitsโ€”not just athletes.

If you donโ€™t have periods weekly that are Live, Intense, Emotional, with stakes on the line, I promise your kids will cramp G1 You may think your team periods are hard, but I bet itโ€™s more survival mode than Friday Night Lights in their minds TLDR: Practice Harder

In HS S&C the biggest thing Iโ€™ve changed my opinion on is our impact on holding the standard/expectations. We help teach effort, intent, consistency Head Coach sets the floor. S&C/Assts push the ceiling Training is important but mentality/behavior determines training impact
