If you view the world only through eyes of newspapers and mainstream media, it’s easy to become paralysed with anxiety and fear. Choosing love isn’t about free hugs or flowers. It’s reclaiming your power. It’s strength. It can unify people in spite of our differences.

Fear keeps us locked in the lowest expression of our being. Love doesn’t mean giving everything you have away or compromising healthy boundaries. It’s a state to access our authentic self, underneath society’s conditioning.

Homelessness is something we see every day. It’s part of the backdrop of the cities we live in, but there’s nothing normal about it. Suffering is part of life, but to be isolated and alone in our pain, with no community, is not something that humans are not designed to withstand.

People seeking asylum have become the scapegoat for the discontent in western societies. They are not the reason why there is no affordable housing in your town, or why you can't pay your energy bills. We are stronger when we unite. No amount of blame will solve your problems.
