Over the last 2 years I built a business, stopped running, stopped reffing and focussed on my family. In 2020 I had to take a chemotherapy drug for 6 weeks, which really wiped me out. This year, I WILL run a marathon again, at whatever pace I can and just be grateful 🙏

5am club

Every teacher I know is running on empty. There’s too much to do. There’s too much pressure (some from ourselves) to get this right because it actually matters. Too many conflicting pressures. And still teaching. This is not on. And no one seems to be listening. 1/2

The lazy teacher narrative has had its desired effect. And now we’re here hanging on by a thread and nobody outside seems to care. This must never happen again. 2/2

I suspect that not one single person outside of education has any idea the work TAGs has caused. Every single teacher deserves a rest and to see their families next week.
