40s year old male with incidental cervical and thoracic intramedullary tumors. PET positive. VHL work up and gene normal. Intraop C1 tumor was arising from cord and stained for SOX10. Intramedullary schwannomatosis. First reported case to my knowledge.

We removed an acoustic neuroma and grew schwannoma stem cells from the tumor. We will study the origins of the tumor, agents that can treat it, and a nanotechnology that can fluoresce the tumor to make more visible during surgery to identify the facial and cochlear nerve.
