⛈️ WATCHING SOME STORMS... Thunderstorms have developed west of the Chesapeake Bay, and are getting ready to cross onto Delmarva. So far, most of these storms have not been severe, but at least one has. Gusty downpours and frequent lightning will be the main threats tonight.

⛈️ HEADS UP IN SUSSEX COUNTY... A *Strong Thunderstorm* over Caroline County is headed in your direction. Prepare for 40+mph wind gusts, pea size hail, lightning, and torrential rain. Isolated flash flooding could occur. The storm is moving east at 20 mph.

⛈ HEADS UP IN EASTERN SUSSEX COUNTY... A *Strong Thunderstorm* near Ellendale is moving east at 15 mph. Prepare for 40+mph wind gusts and heavy rain in places such as Georgetown, Milton, and Lewes over the next half hour or so.

⛈️ STORMY NIGHT AHEAD... A line of showers and thunderstorms is approaching the Mid-Atlantic. Aside from some brief downpours, Delmarva will be quiet for the next few hours. Late this evening, though, some strong storms will be possible on parts of Delmarva.

🌊 COASTAL FLOODING THREAT... Major flooding is expected on the shores of Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean from the coming tropical storm. Floods will be most dangerous around high tide. See below for the next five high tides around Delmarva.
