Any Leeds Labour MP who decided to leave the Commons before the PM's statement on the Grenfell Inquiry report wants sanctioning by their CLP but it will never happen

Just to note all Leeds Labour MP's voted to cut the winter fuel payments except Richard Burgon (currently suspended) and Hilary Benn (did not vote) probably in NI but as a minister would have been expected to vote for the cut - shameless

Aspirants for Starmer's crown Wes Streeting and Darren Jones join Danny Kruger (National Conservative) in opposing the Assisted Dying Bill - the future of Labour is Blue

'A quiet majority of disabled people support assisted dying. I’m one of them.' - Prof Tom Shakespeare express.co.uk/news/politics/…

Danny Kruger is a moral absolutist for whom no version of assisted dying is acceptable -he aims to wreck the bill asserting exaggerated risks at the expense of those beyond palliative care who will otherwise die in agony that is why IMHO he is "wrong"

Since I have already "g(o)t old some day, and (have more than one) disability" - I assume I'm "vulnerable" according to you - nonetheless I would like the reassurance that AD will be available should I choose to think I need it - so hopefully the bill will pass

In view of the fact that the aim of the bill is to reduce needless suffering, there are strict eligibility rules and safeguards and the ultimate choice lies with the patient then the moral objection to suicide is a purely personal issue
