not only is public transport free in Brussels, but they even have a bus called "Not The 48" which takes you to a mystery location if you're feeling a bit down or you just don't have anything to do that day something for other cities to consider

if you had to fight every famous person that shares your first name how do you think you'd do? I think Hopkins and Kiedis are going down but Anthony Mackie is gonna kick my ass.

Dear Driver, this is the reason why we as cyclists ride away from the gutter. This is the reason why you think we “are swerving all over the road” it’s to avoid these. You feel these in your car, these would throw us off our bikes if we hit them. #ukcyclechat

As of yesterday, Springhurst is now re-paved from Jameson towards Dufferin and it's a positive improvement to that leg of my cycle commute. It used to be a pothole-riddled mess that forced me to mingle with vehicles more closely than I'd like. Slightly safer ride now.

The more people that choose to walk, bike and take public transit to get around cities, the better cities work for EVERYONE, including DRIVERS. Anyone still claiming this is a “war on the car” doesn’t understand how cities work. HT Urban Cycling Institute 🚲  graphic.

"It's not my duty as Mayor to make sure you have a parking spot. For me it's the same as if you bought a cow, or a refrigerator, and then asked me where you're going to put them." —Miguel Anxo F. Lores, Mayor of #Pontevedra🇪🇸 (re-elected SIX time)

The small section of road directly in front of your home is not your private parking space. You are not inherently entitled to use that space exclusively. Anyone can park there. And the city can decide to put a bike lane there. It's public property. It doesn't belong to you.

Posting this mismatched headline & photo because it made me laugh, but also because despite 20 people commenting about the mistake (winner is "Dude she seems lovely, that's a bit harsh"), it's still up an hour later.

I don’t understand Ontario’s driving certification. My daughter has to take her highway driving test on Saturday but has been legally highway driving for months, including Canada’s busiest hwy the 401. Meanwhile thousands of TO drivers are texting & driving without consequence?

I'm feeling this. Our local Shoppers Drug Mart changed ownership recently and it feels like the new owner bought it without any idea how to run a pharmacy. And don't get me started on why all the packets are crammed into a drawer randomly, apparently not alphabetically.

So, remember when Doug Ford endorsed Mark Saunders for mayor? And Saunders wanted to rip out bike lanes? Is this all because his guy didn’t win? Is Ford actually that petty and vindictive? Yes. The correct answer is yes. #ONpoli
