Derek Fildebrandt Perhaps because white supremacists are spewing absolutely horrific hate speech at Indigenous peoples in an effort to incite violence against us and our communities - not that a wealthy white guy like you would ever understand that.

“White men” viciously removed First Nations children from their homes and sent them to dangerous industrial institutions that they called schools. They didn’t hide the fact that they weren’t interested in educating, they wanted to destroy families and children were expendable “

To the nervous nellies wringing hands and those speaking against BC treaties for political gain, here are treaties across Canada. Life went on there and then. Life will go on in BC too.

Regarding the Heritage Act, there is heritage in BC that is unrelated to Euro-based history. That’s what the DRIPA considerations are about.

People love to argue “but I’ve never known someone to die from measles.”So here are the silent harms no one ever talks about: It destroys germinal centers, causing immune amnesia and strips away immunity children have spent years building. It suppresses the immune system long

This dump was operated by an individual. The community has been requesting help to stop this. Reserves have CP’s which gives the holder the right to use the property as they wish. Disputes go to INAC, not the band.

Read the Indian Act. This land has a CP belong to the operator. Disputes over land on reserve are the responsibility of INAC. The province doesn’t have jurisdiction. The band can’t do anything without INAC involvement.
