This is the best advice healthcare leadership needs to fight #COVID19. Stop looking around to wait and see what others do first. Get smart teammates together with you and make the hard decisions. If you err on the side of staff safety you will not lose.

Thank you to the family that dropped this wonderful poster off at our Georgetown station Friday evening. This community support for our paramedics and healthcare providers is inspiring. Words cannot express what this support means to the entire team.

This is why we #RidetoRemember. For the 884 police & peace officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their community. We will always come together every September to remember them & to show their family, friends & colleagues that they will never be forgotten. Canadian Police & Peace Officers Memorial

I stand with all paramedics. To imply that paramedics are not healthcare workers is simply ludicrous! Dealing with sick Covid patients on a daily basis yet having no rapid access to immunization makes zero sense. I would welcome a conversation with Doug Ford anytime on this.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the end of the Gulf War. Canada joined a coalition of more than 35 countries to help liberate Kuwait. More than 4,000 Canadians πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ served in the Gulf War and was the first conflict that saw Canadian women serve in combat roles. #GulfWar30

The Duke of Edinburgh served as the Colonel in Chief of The Royal Canadian Regiment since December 1953. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family on this sad day. Pro Patria!

This week, at the Tomb Of The Unknown Solider Arlington National Cemetery history was made. For the first time in the 84-year vigil, on the 30,770th day of the continuous guard, an all-woman changing of the guard occurred under the direction of the 38th Sergeant of the Guard, SFC Porterfield.

This week Mike is celebrating 40 years of service, most of that time in Halton Region, an outstanding accomplishment. Mike is currently using his vast knowledge as a community paramedic. Small gathering today, but we will celebrate properly post-pandemic. Congratulations!

A touching 'Amazing Grace' tribute by VanPolicePipeBand, at their annual event, for fallen RCMP / GRC Constable Shaelyn Yang, a courageous #community #hero who paid the ultimate sacrific. #neverforget Vancouver Police Burnaby RCMP

Congratulations to Mike who was awarded his EMS Exemplary Service Medal 40-year bar, 22 of those years with Halton Region. 40 years as a frontline paramedic is an outstanding accomplishment, and Mike continues to care for patients in the Community Paramedicine at Clinic program.
